Biography
Dr Koltover, Vitaly Kimovich is Chief Researcher (Principal Investigator) in Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics Russian Academy of Sciences (IPCP RAS) Chernogolovka, Moscow Region 142432, Russia. He completed Master Degree – Physics in 1966 from National Taras Shevchenko University, Kiev, Ukraine and Ph. D. from the Institute of Chemical Physics, USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow . He worked as research fellow in Department of Radiation Biology, Institute of Plant Physiology, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Kiev, Ukraine (fSU) from 1966 (Sep.) – 1968 (Nov). In 1972– present: junior scientist, senior scientist, leading scientist, chief researcher, at the Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences (former Branch of the Institute of Chemical Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences), Chernogolovka, Moscow Region
Research Interest
Present: EPR spectroscopy, spin labels, biological membranes, bioenergetics, free radicals and antioxidants, aging, reliability (robustness) of biological systems, bio-reliability, stable magnetic isotopes, nuclear spin catalysis, chemical bionics.
